Fruit or Dairy Shares

Hi - I thought I read somewhere that there may be a dairy share? If not, does anyone know of any fruit, meat, or dairy CSAs in LIC? Thanks! Do you find this valuable?

Hey megemil. The core group is working on developing an apple share for late in the season. Details for the sign-up will come soon, and will be available at the distribution site. As far as eggs and dairy, we are also looking for a viable option, but none have emerged at this time (to the best of my knowledge). The Farm at Miller's Crossing will be providing meat on a per order basis (details at the distribution site). I know that one of the Astoris CSA's has fruit, dairy, meat, bread, wine & beer. It's located at Parks Playgrounf on 35th St. between 35th & 36th Aves. Do you find this valuable?
