Hi - I thought I read somewhere that there may be a dairy share? If not, does anyone know of any fruit, meat, or dairy CSAs in LIC? Thanks!

I know that one of the Astoris CSA's has fruit, dairy, meat, bread, wine & beer. It's located at Parks Playgrounf on 35th St. between 35th & 36th Aves.

It's good. Some of the items have that "end of the season" look - a little stretched, but they are perfectly tasty. Plenty of beautiful beets, kohlrabi, apples and more. I'm especially enjoying the incredibly tasty eggs and yogurt. Since I don't do carbs (much), I've passed on things like granola to my officemates and they are very happy with what I've been bringing in. I'll do it again next year, if it's offered.
